Evaluation of Root Canal Configuration of Permanent Maxillary Molar Teeth in a Turkish Subpopulation: A Cone-Beam Computed Tomographic Study

نویسندگان

چکیده

Objective: Maxillary molars may be challenging for root canal treatment due to their complex anatomy and additional canals, especially in the mesiobuccal root. The current study aimed investigate prevalence of numbers maxillary molar a selected Turkish population. Materials Methods: A total 905 first second were evaluated using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images. number roots canals was recorded further with Vertucci classification. Results: 394 teeth had (MB2) (43.5%). While 90.4% all three roots, 44% four canals. most common Type II (42.6%) followed by IV (31.5%) III (22.1%). Conclusions: It is clear that mesial permanent should carefully searched long-term success treatments. seen CBCT sections will beneficial diagnosis better understanding anatomical structure determining possible deviations.
